Check out some of our points! Would you be persuaded??

For the past few weeks we have been learning about persuasive writing and how to persuade a person to our point of view. Today 4th class were given a task where they had to look at the statement: "Children should do homework everyday!" but looking at different points of view. One group had to put themselves into the shoes of teachers, the second group had to put themselves into the shoes of their parents and the final group had to look at it at the point of view of a child. We discussed these in our groups and then listened to the point of views of the other groups. Some very IMPRESSIVE points were made!! There are definitely some world leaders in 4th class!!

In 4th class we "Cycle Right"

Thanks to Richard and Leeroy for coming into 4th class and teaching us the importance of cycling properly on the road. We learned how to signal properly, and how to position ourselves on the road. We had lots of fun doing this and we even had our own "crossroads junction" in our basketball court, in order to put our skills to the test.
